Snyder’s Gluten Free Pretzels Review
How Do These Gluten Free Pretzels Stack Up?
I love pretzels. Kids love pretzels. Heck, who doesn’t? However, being gluten free means you can’t eat the pretzels you once enjoyed so much. Snyder’s of Hanover, a relative favorite here in PA, has come out with gluten free pretzel sticks. Not only are these pretzel sticks gluten free, but they are also dairy free, casein free and egg free.
Let’s give them a whirl. Upon picking up the package you will notice something immediately. The packaging makes a little more crinkly noise that a typical bag. I am guessing this is due to the label claiming the package is made from plants. Yep, that’s right. To quote from the back of the bag, “The renewable materials used to create this package are derived from plants not oil. It takes as little as half the energy to make as compared to traditional petroleum based plastic food packaging” OK, now that we have that covered, how do they taste? Continue Reading >>

Goldbaum’s Gluten Free Ice Cream Cones
With daylight savings finally upon us, it is time to start thinking of warm weather and outdoor activities. And what goes hand-in-hand with warm weather better than ice cream? Kids and adults alike love ice cream, but not being able to eat gluten often makes eating ice cream boring. Kids want to eat from cones like their friends do. Adults like to eat cones with their children. I like to eat them because I like cones!
One of our popular summer treats is Goldbaum’s Gluten free Ice Cream Cones. These cones have an outstanding texture and taste. Unlike some other wheat free cones we have tasted, these do not have a rubber-like texture. Like real ice cream cones, these are crunchy, delicious, and simply great. People won’t even know they are gluten free. That’ll be our little secret.
Don’t forget Memorial Day is right around the corner. Whether it is a backyard BBQ, little league baseball game, family picnic or just an afternoon around the house, enjoy ice cream like it is meant to be; on a cone. Grab yours today and put a smile on your face! If you are having a large get-together, you can get them by the case (12 boxes) and save even more. Continue Reading >>
