Gluten Free Appetizers, Gluten Free Pizza, Gluten Free Sandwiches, Gluten Free Beer - Denver, Colorado

We are so excited to get out to Denver, Colorado this week.  So, we thought, “What the heck!  Let’s choose a Denver location as our gluten free place to be this week!” We chose, with the help of a Facebook friend, Beau Jo’s with locations throughout Colorado.  BeauJo’s has an awesome gluten free menu, which includes gluten free “prarie pies”, a huge selection of gluten free appetizers you can’t find anywhere else, gluten free sandwiches, and gluten free beer for the grown ups!

Just perusing Beau Jo’s gluten free menu makes me wish we were in Denver today!  I can’t believe the gluten free appetizers, which include:

  • Gluten Free Baked Stuffed Mushrooms: Fresh mushroom caps stuffed with cream cheese, spinach, and a touch of herbs and topped with melted fontina-provolone cheese.
  • Gluten Free Garlic Bread with Cheese:  Roasted garlic and olive oil topped with mozzerella and Italian seasoning served fresh from the oven on gluten free bread with marinara sauce for dipping.
  • Gluten Free Honey Cheese Bread:  Gluten free bread with a generous serving of Beau Jo’s unique Rocky Mountain honey with tangy cheddar cheese.
  • And there’s more…

Their Gluten Free Pizzas (or as Beau Jo’s calls them – “Prarie Pies”) are made with a gluten free pizza crust and served on a separate pizza pan.  The descriptions are making my mouth water.  I’m thinking of ordering one (or all) of the following:

  • Gluten Free Pacific Plantation:  Smoked ham, pineapple chunks, mushrooms, red onions, BeauJo’s pizza sauce, Rocky Mountain honey and whole milk mozzerlla cheese.
  • Gluten Free Yukon:  Beau Jo’s pizza sauce, Canadian bacon, artichoke hearts, roma tomatoes, provolone and mozzerella cheeses.
  • Gluten Free Skier Mike:  Beau Jo’s pizza sauce, smoked Canadian bacon, chicken breast, green peppers, and whole milk mozzerella cheese.
  • Gluten Free Centurion:  Roasted garlic and olive oil sauce, fresh garlic, sundried tomatoes, fresh spinach and roma tomatoes, whole milk mozzerella and feta cheeses.
  • And there’s more….

I can’t believe the selection at Beau Jo’s.  I can’t choose which gluten free entree I want.  We may never come back from Denver.  Can you believe that on top of gluten free appetizers and gluten free prarie pies, Beau Jo’s has gluten free sandwiches?  I’m thinking I may order all of Beau Jo’s gluten free sandwiches, which are all served on gluten free bread, including:

  • Gluten Free Canadian Club:  Turkey, Canadian bacon, bacon bits, Swiss cheese, roma tomatoes, lettuce and mayo.
  • The Gluten Free Chuckwagon:  Pepperoni, Canadian bacon, monterey jack cheese, and Italian dressing for dipping.
  • And there’s more…

Needless to say, we will be stopping by Beau Jo’s while we are in Denver.  Check out on of their many Colorado locations, and as always…. TELL THEM WE SENT YOU!
